Lindsay – It does look like him! I’m not sure if this is the same guy but Chris Putnam (a Facebook engineer) has also been mentioned as the ‘owner’ of the mystery face (which would explain the emote, I guess!). Lace – It depends on your keyboard…it is often next to the left ’shift’ key (on my keyboard you can get it by holding Shift and \ at the same time.
Another way to do it is to hold down ‘Alt’ and then type 0124 on the numeric keypad (on the right hand side of your keyboard). That should get one on your screen!

step 1. hold ALT
step 2. use TWO NUMBER COMBINATIONS on the numerical keypad on the RIGHT HAND SIDE of the keyboard, then release everything. (1 and 2, 1 and 3, 3 and 5, ect…)

Oh and a couple of other emotes are incorrectly named… -_- but seriously. the :P is not the “rude” emote, it is a gloat, or bash often following a burn of sorts. The O.o emote is not woot? it is a smiley way of saying OH. MY. GOD! it is meant to mean intense shock about something. :/ does not mean duh, it means unsure. I swear, who ever named these needs to learn what each smiley means, and yes it was relevant for me to point these things out otherwise you would incorrectly use them.

The labels placed for most of these emoticons aren’t exactly correct, but I suggest you change them :)
