Getting ranked on the Bing search engine

This post is for webmasters – the new Microsoft Bing search engine has been launched, and a lot of people have found that their websites are not listed or ranked! Microsoft have promised that their new search engine will be a ‘decision engine’, which will become more important to people than Google. Is this true? Getting a high rank in Bing might be huge in the future, but getting a listing right now is just as important. We will see how it turns out – but they have also said they will invest $80m in advertising for their new search engine, so you better make sure you know how to get ranked on Bing SERPS.

There’s a lot of different things to remember if you want to get a high ranking on Bing, but luckily they’re all listed on this website – How to get listed in the Bing search engine so check it out and if you haven’t got listed on Bing yet then do it now!

    I cannot open bing.com at all, obviously not a webmaster am I…

      I think Bing.com was blocked in China for a few days! Maybe it will come back soon!

    I think, getting ranked in bing is also important… But, is there a bing PR like the googlePR?

      Haha I’m sure Microsoft have something similar in the works, but for now I have no idea how often they’re updating or how they’re calculating it!

    my initial test result shows that Bing is as good as Google when displaying relevant search results. Google might be having a tough competitor with Microsofts own search engine.

    i have been evaluating the search results of Microsoft Bing compared to Google and they are comparable. Bing gives almost the same relevant search results just like Google.
