How rumours start…

Monday, December 15th, 2008

Until recently, 95% of Chinese textbooks were printed in Ghana.

An innocent Chinese text book!

However, contracts with publishers in Africa have recently been reviewed by the Chinese government due to suspected ’subliminal messages’ being implanted into the minds of the youth of the country.

Damn you genetics!

I’m not sure there is any hard evidence though.

Poo

Am I the only person left in the world who doesn’t like the word ‘poo’? It’s not clever, it’s not interesting, I don’t find it funny or cute…it just reminds me of faeces, and I don’t like being reminded of toilet. Maybe you do? You freak.

My sister sent me this great quote by Mark Twain:

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bow-lines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

I’m not sure about imagining myself as an entire boat, but otherwise I’m on board 100%!
