Ok well if you’ve seen Donnie Darko then you’ll know how I’m feeling right now…what a strange film! I think I think it’s really good but I’ll either have to watch it again or think about it more before I come up with what I *actually* think…Right? *Somebody* told me today they thought it was a chick-flick…I hope they were taking the piss…
Well life is still going on – it looks good on
the job front because I went in to the bar today and saw one of the
supervisors who at least remembered me….It looks like I may even have
a shift as early as tomorrow!
I saw some great pictures of me and
Mariatzell today that Thomas had taken when he visited Grenoble…made
me think a lot…sad sad…But it’s ok…
Watched ‘Not another teen
movie’ today with Dave and Rosie, it was a really good waste of an hour
or so…Might watch American Pie 2 tonight or Training Day, can’t
decide.
Grrrrespect
Ha ha! I’m only joking…it’s not possible! I’m
just watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer for the second time (not the
second time ever of course, the second time for this episode!)…great
stuff. Line:
(Girlfriend of inventor to inventor)
- That’s a robot!
(Inventor)
- It wasn’t just for sex.
So true, so true…
(Robot girlfriend)
- Crying is blackmail. Good girlfriends don’t cry.
Testify sister.

I watched some films today…oh God I feel sick as I type these:
Romancing The Stone – A classic? I remembered it better than it was I think.
The Amazing Howard Hughes – Tommy Lee Jones goes mental. Very sssslllloooowwwlllllyyyy.
Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
- From the Daily Telegraph TV Guide: “(1965) Erotic drama starring Tura
Satana and Lori Williams.”. From Oliworld.co.uk Film Guide:”(1965)
Shit.”.

-Who the hell is that?
-Well it ain’t fuckin’ Frosty! [sssssslice!]
I was going to put some links to websites dedicated to the film but
there don’t seem to be any. Wank. I think I’ll have to make one one day
coz the film really is MoNeY!!!!
Well well well. Happy new year etc to everyone in the world etc.
With that out of the way let me tell you what I’ve been doing recently.
Not much. I’ve been listening* to a lot of music (maybe I’ll make a
list of the hot shit if I get bored) and chilling out with friends.
Last night was, of course, New Year’s Eve and I got pretty drunk (sorry
everyone) and found myself in a very compromising situation with two
girls in a bathroom at my friend’s house party…until it all went
wrong (kinda, well kinda not, anyway…) but whatever it was a cool new
year and I hope 2002 will be good for everyone etc etc etc etc etc
I’ve been watching a lot of films too (like I’ve Been Watching You,
Stranger Than Fiction, Series 7: The Contenders, Small Soldiers, Truman
Show…) which keeps me normal……..eeek……
4:20 baby….

Who remembers Knightmare? The CITV program which ran between 1989(ish)
and 1994 on Friday afternoons before Home and Away…Oh how cool was
it?!

EAT THE BREAD! PUT IT IN YOUR NAPSACK!!!!
Knightmare.Com – Best Knightmare fansite on the internet.
I’ve found a really amazing Battle Royale
(film) website – not only does it have total synopsis of the film etc.,
info about the cast, screw ups in the continuity etc., info about
follow ups and special edition…it also has over 800 vidcaps from the
VCD! If you made a monster flick book you could basically make the
whole film! Check the site out now:
Tonight Joss and I went to the cinema to watch Time and Tide,
a movie made in Hong Kong (the title there is “Shunliu niliu”). It was
excellent. I didn’t know what to expect (I originally, after having
looked at the hype in the local cinema newspaper, thought it was
animated…it wasn’t…) and was really suprised for the better. The
plot was really hard to follow, sometimes it was better to watch the
action instead of trying to read the dialogue (it was in mandarin with
french subtitles), but it all sort of made sense in the end…
